Volunteering

We are constantly in need of volunteers to support our Khmer teachers in our English literacy program. Teaching experience is not required; the interaction volunteers have with our children significantly impacts their development.

Should you choose to volunteer, not only will you positively influence the growth of our children, but you’ll also gain a rewarding and unforgettable life experience.

If you are interested in volunteering, please fill in the Volunteer Application Form and E-mail it to: ctodcambodia@gmail.com/hysros.fs@gmail.com.

Your visit

If you do not have the time to volunteer for a longer period, please feel free to visit CTOD for a Day to see first-hand the classrooms and environment we teach in.

To make an appointment, please e-mail or call Mr. Hy Sros directly. See the Contact us page for details.

Accommodation

Battambang City has many accommodation options. Guesthouses and hotels range from USD $5- $25 for a room per night. Shared dormitories in hostels are also a cheaper option. Alternatively, a homestay is available in Sursei Village for a smaller fee. This is walking distance from the school.

The Office of CTOD is approximately 150 meters from the LEVEL Guesthouse by foot.

Please download the Homestay document for more information.

CTOD Homestay Information

Please note that CTOD is not a ‘pay-to-volunteer’ organization. The homestay program is completely optional for CTOD volunteers.

All volunteers must read and sign our Volunteer Agreement Form [KO1] and adhere to our Child Protection Policy. If you would like a copy of our Child Protection Policy or if you have any questions, contact me, Mr. Hy Sros, or refer to our Frequently Asked Questions
