{"id":295,"date":"2025-03-03T08:01:17","date_gmt":"2025-03-03T08:01:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ctodcambodia.org\/ctod\/?page_id=295"},"modified":"2025-03-03T08:01:19","modified_gmt":"2025-03-03T08:01:19","slug":"project-mental-health-support-training","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ctodcambodia.org\/ctod\/projects\/project-mental-health-support-training\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Mental Health Support &amp; Training."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">CTOD collaborated with <a><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.headgym.co.uk\">HeadGym<\/a>, a provider of mental health coaching, training, and consultancy services, to conduct sessions for all teachers and school directors at Wattahen Secondary School in Roka Commune and Tapon Secondary School in Tapon Commune, both situated in Sangker District, Battambang Province, Cambodia. <\/pre>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">The project commenced on the 7th of August and concluded on the 11<sup>th<\/sup> of August 2023, with a total participation of 45 individuals, out of which 30 were women.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">&nbsp;<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">On the 6<sup>th<\/sup> and 7<sup>th<\/sup> of November 2023, CTOD and HeadGym renewed their collaboration, following up on the earlier training sessions with a total number of 36 participants (women 20 persons). This time, the focus was to delve deeper into understanding the additional support needed by the staff and to assess the impact of the initial training on the teachers and their students. The schools involved were Raing Kesey Secondary School and Wattmim Secondary School in Sangker District, Battambang Province, Cambodia. <\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Objective:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cPathways to Success\u201d. Teacher training in empowering mental health and personal growth. This course equips people with mental health knowledge and communication skills to improve their future outcomes.
